DeBruyn Nelson (the museum has blanket permission to reproduce the poem whenever - Ms. Nelson says "the poem belongs to the painting. - per phone conversation with Ms. Nelson 10-6-11, FB) and note from Carlson that this painting was done in the last two months of Bob Kuhn's life, as a memorial to Kuhn.
