InscribedPhimister Proctor / copyrt 1909 (in two places). Red number "2838", white number "126" On 2013-06-17, Phimister (Sandy) Proctor Church suggested that the bison figure was produced by lost wax method, whereas the base was possibly done by sandcast method and speculated that it was done to save cost. Believes it was cast at Roman Bronze.
