DescriptionAmerican Bison Head - "The bison is an iconic symbol of the midwest and North American wilderness. This imposing creature of the Great Plains is a physically strong, formidable and immense beast. My portrait is presented as a head relief, echoing the taxidermy trophies of the hunter, but is a celebration of a living, breathing animal. The quiet pose expresses character and reflects the more tranquil, gentler nature of this majestic creature." Kendra Haste, 2016.
