DescriptionOne bull moose stands on the right side of water. The reflection of the trees and mountains can be seen in the river which takes up the left side of the painting. All of the trees are very green, summertime scene.Curatorial Remarks

Back of photograph from Rungius Studio Collection at Glenbow reads, "C. Rungius 33 W. 67th [indecipherable, maybe St. N.Y.] / 'On the Renous River' / New Brunswick / 'On the Renous River (Miramichi, N.B)," PA-1875-174.

"C. Rungius," address, and second instance of title in Rungius's hand.

Other markings appear to be for possible publication.

Rungius in studio/home at 33 W. 67th from 1929-1933.
